IT Network Administrator

About the role

An experienced IT Network Administrator is sought to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, network systems, servers, Microsoft 365, Azure services, security and end-user technology. The role combines network and systems administration with cloud infrastructure, security, IT support and operational management. Candidates currently based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi are highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot network, system, hardware and software issues, restoring service promptly
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity or performance issues
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS and enterprise systems
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, Domain Controller, SharePoint) and its security
• Administer Microsoft Azure resources, storage, virtual networks, networking, security, identity and governance
• Implement network security controls such as firewalls, antivirus and intrusion detection systems
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans
• Manage AV and collaboration technology, including conference rooms and video conferencing
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures and coordinate with vendors and service providers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in network administration and IT support
• Immediate to 30-day notice period; candidates based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi preferred

• Network security, firewall and antivirus administration, backup and disaster recovery
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
