IT Production Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Production Support Engineer will ensure the stability and performance of digital banking applications and related technology platforms in a 24/7 production environment. You will work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents, support releases, and enable smooth transitions from testing to production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 production support, including shift and on‑call duties, for digital banking applications.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and system health using Dynatrace and other tools.
• Troubleshoot issues across APIs, databases, middleware, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, releases, and deployments following IT service management processes.
• Support AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift environments, application servers, messaging platforms, and databases.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues, ensure SLA compliance, and review solutions.
• Assist with SIT, UAT, production deployment, transition, and technical handover activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
• Collaborate with project teams on technology‑enabled initiatives and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of IT experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting enterprise applications and technical systems.
• Hands‑on experience in production/application support within a 24/7 shift environment.
• Good understanding of banking operations and application support processes.
