IT Specialist

About the role

The IT Specialist will support the technology environment of JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network services for guests and staff. This full‑time position reports to the IT department and works closely with other IS personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripheral equipment, and network communications.
• Provide end‑user support, including workstation setup, password resets, and account management.
• Perform system backups, monitor server systems, and support software updates.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment; manage inventory of technology devices.
• Coordinate with vendors or technicians for major issues or defective products.
• Secure backup media and telephone rooms, and educate users on data protection.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of related IT support experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
