IT Support Assistant – Night Shift (Dubai)

About the role

Seattle Aviation Solutions is looking for a proactive IT Support Assistant to keep its Dubai office running smoothly during the night shift (8 pm – 5 am GST). You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, handling requests from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and user‑access problems.
• Run system updates, software installations, security patches and routine maintenance.
• Maintain antivirus and endpoint security tools on all devices.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding – device setup, account configuration and equipment collection.
• Log tickets, document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Write and maintain IT procedures, FAQs and end‑user guides.
• Track IT assets and keep inventory records accurate.
• Coordinate with the wider IT team on escalated issues and project work.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, helpdesk or technical support.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 environments.
• Basic networking understanding (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools and monitoring software.
• Excellent communication skills for non‑technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize independently.
