IT Support Specialist (L1/L2, Microsoft 365, Intune)

About the role

An experienced IT Support Specialist is sought, based in Dubai, UAE, to deliver L1 and L2 technical support across a Microsoft 365 environment, Intune-managed devices, Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory and end-user hardware. The role suits someone with 5-7 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline L1 and L2 support to end users via ticketing system, email and phone
• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 user accounts, groups and licenses
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune for device management
• Administer Windows Server, including patching, backups and performance monitoring
• Maintain Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policies and access controls
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs and wireless networks
• Install, configure and support printers, peripherals and other hardware
• Document incidents, resolutions and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and upgrades
• Maintain the IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with company policies

Required profile

• 5-7 years of proven IT support experience in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrated L1 and L2 support skills with effective incident resolution
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving abilities

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Intune configuration
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory management with Group Policy
• Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Support for printers, workstations and other end-user hardware

Preferred: Microsoft certifications (MS-100, MS-101, MCSA), ITIL Foundation, Hyper-V and VMware familiarity, router/switch/firewall experience, and Arabic proficiency.
