IT Technician

About the role

The British International School Abu Dhabi seeks an IT Technician to provide high‑level technical support to staff and students. You will ensure the smooth operation of the school’s IT infrastructure and contribute to a secure, efficient learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve technical issues on school computers.
• Perform ongoing maintenance of IT equipment, including servers, workstations, and networking devices.
• Provide technical assistance for interactive whiteboards, projectors, printers, photocopiers, phones and other peripherals.
• Maintain the security of all ICT assets.
• Use the IT helpdesk system to prioritize, log and track support requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT support and helpdesk environments (essential).
• Degree‑level education in a relevant discipline (preferable).
• Good understanding of Office 365 suites (essential).
• High personal integrity, attention to detail and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Preferably already residing in Abu Dhabi.
