Junior Accountant (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting while working closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and prepare financial summaries.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems or financial management platforms.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general ledger processes.
• Data entry and record‑keeping proficiency.
