Junior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Dubai team. You will support daily accounting operations, help keep our financial records accurate, and assist the senior accounting staff with month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Help prepare basic financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.

Required profile

• Foundational accounting knowledge (bookkeeping, ledger maintenance).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
