Junior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our Dubai office. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording, reconciliations and compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily income, expenses, receipts and payments in the accounting system.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable/payable.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Compile monthly financial reports and management summaries.
• Maintain expense and petty‑cash records.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee financial records.
• Support VAT calculations, filing and related documentation.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within a consultancy or professional‑services environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and local accounting standards.
• Experience with bank and cash reconciliations.
