Junior Accountant (Emiratisation)

About the role

Emirates is looking for a Junior Accountant to support its finance team in Dubai. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural aviation environment and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accounting entries, invoices and billing documents.
• Process revenue accounting transactions, tax, proration and refund payments.
• Reconcile control, nominal and clearing accounts, including sales, interline and revenue related accounts.
• Audit documents, identify discrepancies and raise queries with internal or external stakeholders.
• Update master data in the accounting system and support pre/post‑closing activities.
• Respond to disputes, escalations and settlement delays in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with basic accounting knowledge.
• Minimum of 1 month relevant experience is acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
