Junior Accountant (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our daily accounting operations. The role involves processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end activities while working closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and prepare financial reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related functions.
• Degree, diploma, or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality.
