Junior Automotive Painter

About the role

EFR Motorsport is seeking a Junior Automotive Painter to join its busy workshop in Abu Dhabi. You will work on a variety of performance parts, applying your existing painting knowledge while expanding your expertise in surface preparation and finishing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare automotive components through sanding, masking and cleaning.
• Perform sandblasting or media blasting to achieve optimal surface texture.
• Apply paint and powder‑coating finishes to wheels, brackets, suspension and other performance parts.
• Maintain high finishing standards and ensure attention to detail throughout each project.
• Assist senior painters and follow safety and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Some prior experience in automotive painting and preparation.
• Hands‑on, motivated and reliable attitude.
• Genuine interest in cars and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced workshop environment.

Required skills

• Basic automotive painting and surface preparation.
• Sandblasting / media blasting.
• Proper cleaning and degreasing of parts before coating.
• Understanding of powder coating processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to achieve high‑quality finishes.
