Junior Hostess – Nightlife (Dubai)

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking a Junior Hostess to join a new nightlife restaurant in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and welcoming arrival experience while supporting the venue’s service culture from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage first impressions.
• Handle reservations, walk‑ins, guest lists and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Door Manager, restaurant management and service team to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Escort guests to their tables and introduce the venue professionally.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of table availability, reservations and guest preferences.
• Respond to guest requests and enquiries with discretion and professionalism.
• Monitor the waiting area, keeping guests informed throughout their arrival experience.
• Support overall venue atmosphere, presentation and service standards.
• Assist with special events, VIP arrivals and private functions as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hospitality or nightlife environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, warm and polished personality with a guest‑focused approach.
• Professional appearance and strong organisational attention to detail.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Discretion when handling VIP guests and sensitive situations.
• Strong command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
