Junior Lawyer – IP Enforcement (Field‑Based)

About the role

American Anti-Piracy Alliance Inc. (AAA) is seeking a Junior Lawyer to support IP enforcement and anti‑counterfeiting actions across the United Arab Emirates. This field‑based role involves frequent travel throughout the seven emirates, liaising with police, courts and other authorities to drive the removal of counterfeit goods.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on IP enforcement cases across all seven emirates.
• Visit and coordinate with police stations, Public Prosecution offices, courts and other government bodies.
• Monitor case progress, hearings, deadlines and required legal procedures.
• Attend court hearings, prosecution appointments and related meetings.
• Arrange and attend the destruction of seized counterfeit products.
• Maintain case documents, certificates and records accurately.
• Coordinate with internal investigators and legal teams on case developments.
• Update case trackers and provide regular status reports.
• Identify and follow up on outstanding actions to avoid delays.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation, IP, or enforcement.
• Knowledge of UAE legal and government procedures (preferred).
• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, appointments and deadlines.
• Professional confidence when dealing with government authorities.
• Valid UAE driving licence and willingness to drive extensively across the UAE.
