Junior Maintenance Technician – Ground Support Equipment

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team, you will support senior technicians in maintaining a wide range of airport ground handling assets. You will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, and repairs while ensuring safety and reliability of all equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily maintenance tasks in the workshop and on‑site.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and care for tools and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on vehicles, GSE, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, GPU, PCA units and generators.
• Record all work in the log book and Maintenance Management System.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance according to manufacturers’ recommendations, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure operational reliability and safety.
• Execute ULD repair and assembly tasks following MOE, EASA/GCAA regulations.

Required profile

• Completed a 2‑year trade certificate in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in facilities, automotive, electrical, civil or mechanical roles within a large organization, preferably in aviation ground support or cargo handling.
