Junior Trader

About the role

Our client, a specialist financial trading firm in Dubai, is looking for a Junior Trader to support its fast‑paced, technology‑enabled trading desk. The role offers structured onboarding, performance‑based progression and the chance to build a long‑term career in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily trading activities, including trade capture and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with operations and other support functions on desk‑level initiatives.
• Assist in the execution of exchange‑traded and OTC transactions.
• Work alongside senior traders on research, analysis, and development of trading ideas.
• Contribute to internal market commentary, analytical reporting, and evaluation of new product opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.
• Recent graduate with up to 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear interest in financial markets and trading.
• Proactive, resilient, adaptable and comfortable in a performance‑oriented environment.
