Junior Treasury Specialist

About the role

Al Tamimi & Company is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Treasury Specialist to join its Cash & Treasury team in Sharjah. This early‑career position supports the management and control of incoming funds across UAE offices, handling receipt processing, reconciliations, and investigations of unidentified payments.

Key responsibilities

• Process, monitor and post incoming receipts across UAE offices, providing support to regional locations as needed.
• Manage and reconcile unallocated and unidentified funds, following up on outstanding items.
• Track and investigate payments received without sufficient information, including third‑party payments.
• Coordinate with KYC, Compliance, Credit Control and other Finance teams to obtain information and clear outstanding receipts.
• Liaise with banks regarding missing, delayed, rejected or unidentified payments and follow through to resolution.
• Assist with bank and receipt reconciliations for selected accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for incoming funds, banking investigations and outstanding actions.
• Ensure all activities comply with Finance, KYC, Compliance and internal control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury or a similar role (preferred).
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and organised approach to work.
