Junior Utilities Coordination Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Junior Utilities Coordination Engineer to support its engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on preparing utility drawings, coordinating with authorities, and assisting in the delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare utility cross‑sections and corridor layout drawings in line with authority requirements.
• Define problems, scope work, plan tasks and report status.
• Produce detailed drawings, design packages, technical reports and analyses.
• Support other engineering activities and provide guidance to CAD drafters.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external authorities and partner companies as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in utility coordination (preferred) or strong willingness to learn.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and ISO 19650 standards.
• Competence in MS Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and database tools.
• Familiarity with EDMS and DMCS document management systems.
