Key Account Manager – Transportation Segment

About the role

The Key Account Manager for the Transportation Segment will be responsible for growing and safeguarding strategic customer relationships across the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the regional sales leadership, the role focuses on delivering Schneider Electric’s electrification, energy management and digital solutions to transportation authorities, rail operators, airports, ports and logistics hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Conduct regular business reviews, account planning sessions and executive engagement activities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and target accounts, driving sales of solutions, software, services and digital offerings.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, framework agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Engage senior decision‑makers (CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CIOs, Infrastructure and Operations Directors) to discuss smart mobility, sustainability, electrification and digital transformation.
• Collaborate with sales specialists, engineering, project execution and marketing teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights and customer feedback to support product innovation and business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key accounts in the transportation, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and C‑level stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering ROI analyses and transformation roadmaps.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
