Key Stage 1 Teacher – January 2027 Start

About the role

Fortes Education is seeking a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join Sunmarke School in Dubai from January 2027. The role is full‑time and focuses on delivering the National Curriculum of England to children aged 5‑7, within a Positive Education framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils.
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes character strengths and resilience.
• Collaborate with colleagues across STEAM, AI, Robotics and sustainability programmes.
• Participate in school events, parent communication and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification for Key Stage 1 (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
• Proven experience teaching early‑years students, preferably in an international setting.
• Commitment to the Positive Education ethos and multicultural classroom dynamics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England for Key Stage 1.
• Proficiency with classroom assessment tools and basic ICT for teaching.
• Familiarity with integrating STEAM concepts into early‑years lessons.
