Kitchen & Laundry Technician – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen & Laundry Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all commercial kitchen and laundry equipment at our beachfront resort. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of appliances to support our culinary and laundry teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, boilers, mixers and dishwashers.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair laundry equipment including washing machines and dryers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Identify energy‑conservation opportunities and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding and Laundry teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and hotel engineering standards.
• Ability to work independently, respond quickly to service calls and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to cleanliness, organisation and continuous improvement.
