Kitchen Steward

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Mama Shelter Dubai as a Kitchen Steward. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a spotless and safe back‑of‑house environment, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen and food‑and‑beverage services.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas to meet hygiene standards.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, especially during peak periods.
• Maintain stewarding areas, storage spaces, floors, drains and back‑of‑house zones in an organized and ready‑for‑action state.
• Handle cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment according to safety procedures.
• Support waste segregation, collection and disposal in line with sustainable practices.
• Report any damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards or supply shortages to the Stewarding Supervisor.

Required profile

• Energetic and team‑oriented with a strong passion for cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to health, safety and food‑safety standards.
