Laboratory Technologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Laboratory Technologist will work within M42 Health’s Integrated Health Solutions platform, performing a range of laboratory activities that support precision medicine and population health initiatives. The role focuses on accurate sample analysis, record keeping, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, track, store and manage laboratory samples while maintaining chain of custody and traceability.
• Perform sample preparation, extraction, and organic/inorganic chemical analyses in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Accurately record, review and manage laboratory data using LIMS and other laboratory systems.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Support compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, quality assurance programs, audits and proficiency testing.
• Maintain laboratory records and assist with accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• Must follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality standards.
• Must ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation guidelines.
• Must maintain accurate documentation and traceability of all laboratory activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.
• Ability to calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Experience in organic chemistry analysis.
• Experience in inorganic chemistry analysis.
• Sample preparation and extraction techniques.
