Land Surveyor – Infrastructure & Roads Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its Abu Dhabi team, working on infrastructure and road projects. You will conduct field surveys, perform geodetic calculations, and support the creation of as‑built drawings while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land and field surveys, geodetic calculations, and structural inspections.
• Interface with clients and contractors to verify survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man‑hour, and cost budgets.
• Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations, ensuring protection of existing utilities.
• Prepare sketches, maintain field books, and record calculations.
• Observe site safety procedures and assist in health‑and‑safety initiatives.
• Support the preparation of as‑built drawings and other project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience on infrastructure and road projects.
• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard industry procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
