Laser Technician – Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Laser Technician – Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Cosmesurge Hospital Umm Suqeim in Dubai. The successful candidate will combine nursing expertise with specialised laser technology to deliver safe, effective patient care in cosmetic and therapeutic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care related to laser treatments under indirect supervision of senior nursing staff.
• Operate and maintain laser equipment in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality and adherence to UAE Code of Conduct and Scope of Practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff, delegating tasks only to trained and competent team members.
• Assist in updating clinical policies, contribute to professional development of colleagues and manage timely re‑licensure.
• Provide expert advice or seek senior support when patient response deviates from expected outcomes.

Required profile

• Current licence to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UAE.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Post‑graduate qualification (diploma, degree or master) in a relevant specialty.
• Proven experience in laser‑based nursing or a related specialist field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Willingness to work across departments and adhere to professional re‑licensure timelines.
