About the role

The Laundry Attendant operates and monitors washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, ensures items are properly treated, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards within the hotel’s linen department.

Key responsibilities

Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machines, adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, rewash or discard.
Inspect cleaned articles, fold them to designated sizes by hand or using a folding machine, and place them in linen carts.
Maintain accurate records of all items laundered and follow company safety and security policies.

Required profile

No specific education or prior experience required.
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and work in confined or elevated spaces.

Required skills

Operating laundry machinery and related equipment.
Using folding machines and manual folding techniques.
Maintaining accurate laundry records.
