Lead Civil Engineer – PMC (Oil & Gas)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Civil Engineer to provide civil and structural engineering expertise for high‑profile ADNOC oil and gas projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle from FEED through construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve civil and structural deliverables from EPC contractors, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and international codes.
• Provide technical guidance on foundations, pipe racks, steel structures, buildings, roads, drainage and underground utilities.
• Monitor contractor performance, manage technical queries, deviations and change requests, and resolve engineering issues promptly.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces with process, piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation teams.
• Support construction activities, review temporary works, and assist with field engineering issues and non‑conformance reports.
• Participate in risk, HSE and quality assurance activities, including HAZID, constructability reviews and engineering audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Structural Engineering is an advantage).
• 15+ years of civil/structural engineering experience in oil & gas or petrochemical sector, with 5–8 years in PMC or EPC capital projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent certification preferred.
