Lead Construction Engineer – Offshore HVAC

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Engineer to manage offshore HVAC construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, on‑time, and on‑budget offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation, hookup, and commissioning of platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures.
• Ensure construction activities meet project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance, review and approve drawings, procedures, and method statements.
• Conduct FEED constructability reviews and enforce HSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
• 18‑20+ years of experience, with at least 5‑8 years in offshore projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar lead construction role.
• Experience with GCC projects, preferably within ADNOC group.
