Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the electrical design and delivery for major EPC/FEED projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will act on behalf of the Owner, ensuring safety, quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Champion project safety culture and lead engagement activities.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve electrical engineering issues during early work and FEED phases.
• Review, approve and comment on contractor deliverables, design documents, calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate with EPC/FEED contractors, vendors, licensors and the Owner in technical meetings and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and Owner specifications, and supervise quality assurance of engineering outputs.
• Participate in design reviews, 3‑D model reviews, constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical engineering for large‑scale EPC/FEED projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes and best practices.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in reviewing and approving technical documentation.
