Lead Engineer - ML QA

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, is the region’s leading innovator of AI‑powered products. As a QA Lead you will define and oversee the quality‑assurance strategy for complex financial‑domain applications, leading both manual and automated testing to ensure AI‑enabled platforms meet strict quality, reliability and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA teams responsible for manual and automated testing across financial applications and AI‑driven platforms.
• Define test strategies, governance frameworks and quality standards aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee test planning, test‑case design, automation development and regression execution.
• Implement automation frameworks supporting UI, API and data validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and architecture teams to ensure testability throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Track quality metrics, defect patterns and coverage statistics to guarantee delivery readiness.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security requirements and audit standards.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation and domain‑specific validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of QA experience with proven leadership in financial or enterprise environments.
• Strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and validating regulated financial workflows.
• Familiarity with agile delivery processes and CI/CD tooling.
