Lead Engineer-Pipeline

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Lead Engineer‑Pipeline to join a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for overseeing design, engineering and construction support for pipeline systems within EPC projects, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of pipeline systems for large‑scale oil and gas projects.
• Provide construction support and technical guidance to on‑site teams.
• Ensure all work adheres to project specifications and international pipeline standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 18 years of experience, with at least 10 years on MEGA oil and gas processing projects.
• Mandatory GCC experience; ADNOC experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ASME pipeline standards.
• Strong knowledge of API pipeline standards.
• Strong knowledge of DNV pipeline standards.
