Lead HSE Engineer – Onshore Mega EPC Projects

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead HSE Engineer to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on on‑site health, safety and environment leadership for mega EPC projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements while supporting KBR’s sustainability objectives. The successful candidate will drive HSE performance, verify system readiness for MC and RFSU certification, and manage punch‑list close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close‑out of punch lists in the assigned area.
• Ensure completion and handover methodology complies with related contractual documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum of twenty years of relevant construction experience.
• On‑site experience in mega EPC projects, preferably in the GCC region.
• Proven ability to lead HSE functions on large‑scale projects.
