Lead Offshore Structural Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Offshore Structural Engineer to drive engineering delivery for fixed offshore assets throughout concept, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC and brownfield modification phases. The role involves on‑site travel to ADNOC offshore facilities to conduct surveys, assess structures and gather data for strengthening and life‑extension projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage discipline execution plans, design basis, deliverable registers and work‑hour estimates.
• Lead structural engineering deliverables for platforms, jackets, topsides, bridges, flare structures and related modifications.
• Define analysis approaches, review assumptions, verify results and approve calculations, reports, specifications and drawings.
• Develop solutions for brownfield anomalies, corrosion, damage, previous modifications, strengthening, repair, replacement and remaining‑life issues.
• Plan and support offshore/site visits to collect engineering data and support project execution.

Required profile

• Valid OPITO‑approved T‑BOSIET/BOSIET and H₂S certifications with at least six months validity.
• Experience delivering offshore structural engineering for fixed assets across multiple project phases.
• Ability to act as discipline focal point for assessment, modification, strengthening and technical assurance.
