Lead Piping Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

Lead and manage all piping engineering activities for the offshore project at Umm Shaif Super Complex, ensuring safe, compliant and constructible designs aligned with ADNOC Offshore standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for piping and layout engineering, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Piping Standards, ASME B31.3 and project design basis.
• Lead integration of instrument air, plant air, utilities and compressor packages, reviewing vendor drawings, nozzle orientations and material specifications.
• Oversee piping material selection, class and MTO compliance, pipe supports, insulation, painting and pressure rating decisions.
• Coordinate 3D model integration, clash detection and routing optimization using AVEVA E3D/PDMS and SP3D.
• Review and approve stress analysis, hydro‑testing, NDT and welding quality for offshore brownfield tie‑ins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on oil & gas EPC projects, with mandatory offshore brownfield experience.
• ADNOC Offshore approval or eligibility; Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
• Strong technical leadership, detail‑orientation and safety mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced piping design and 3D modelling with AVEVA E3D, AVEVA PDMS and SP3D.
• Proficiency in stress analysis, pipe support design and compliance with ASME B31.3 and ADNOC standards.
• Experience in MTO generation, material selection, hydro‑testing and NDT procedures.
• Clash detection, routing optimization and integration of OEM skid packages.
