Lead Process Engineer

About the role

The Lead Process Engineer will provide technical leadership for the design, development and execution of process engineering activities on large‑scale upstream offshore oil & gas projects. Reporting to senior project management, the role oversees a team of engineers and ensures safe, cost‑effective and technically sound solutions from conceptual studies through detailed design and EPC execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the process engineering team throughout all project phases, from Conceptual Studies and FEED to Detailed Design and EPC.
• Develop and review engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with Middle East/GCC operator standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary disciplines to integrate process solutions into overall project scope.
• Manage technical risk, safety considerations and cost optimisation for offshore facilities.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in offshore oil and gas facilities, preferably in the GCC region.
• Proven track record of leading process engineering teams on large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of operator standards, FEED, and EPC execution.
• Previous PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is highly desirable.
