Lead Procurement Engineer - Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Lead Procurement Engineer will oversee procurement activities for ADNOC offshore projects, ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials, equipment and services while complying with ADNOC specifications and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement plans, strategies and schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Manage procurement of major equipment, bulk materials and subcontracted services for offshore EPC/PMC projects.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations, and lead negotiations with approved vendors.
• Maintain effective relationships with ADNOC‑approved vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts and procurement agreements, ensuring all commercial and technical requirements are captured.
• Monitor procurement progress, provide regular status reports and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement for offshore oil & gas EPC/PMC projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications and approved vendor lists.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, construction and project management teams.
