Lead Procurement Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

Lead the procurement function for a high‑profile offshore oil & gas development in Abu Dhabi, ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of equipment, materials and services in line with ADNOC specifications and project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans, strategies and schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Manage procurement of major equipment, bulk materials and subcontracted services, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and company procedures.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations, and lead negotiations with approved vendors.
• Maintain effective relationships with ADNOC‑approved suppliers and oversee vendor selection and recommendation processes.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts and procurement agreements, incorporating all commercial and technical requirements.
• Monitor procurement progress, provide regular status reports and coordinate with engineering, construction and project management teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement activities on offshore EPC/PMC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC procurement standards and offshore project requirements.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with engineering, construction and project management functions.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
