Lead Renewables Technical Advisor

About the role

The Lead Renewables Technical Advisor will head the Renewable Technical Advisory Center in Dubai, driving technical services for solar, wind and BESS projects across the Middle East and Caspian region. The role combines business development, project delivery and technical leadership to expand Bureau Veritas' renewable energy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support global product lines and subject‑matter experts to develop BV’s renewable service portfolio.
• Lead technical due diligence, lenders engineering, feasibility studies and detailed project reports for solar, wind and BESS projects.
• Prepare energy yield assessments, solar resources assessments and technical specifications tailored to client requirements.
• Oversee design review activities for owners‑engineering assignments, both domestic and for network countries.
• Develop and submit inter‑company proposals, manage subcontractor networks and ensure compliance with BV’s Quality Assurance System.
• Present reports to customers, handle queries and ensure deliverable quality before submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Post‑graduation in Energy domain is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy consultancy, including owners‑engineering and technical advisory.
