Lead Software Engineer – Azure DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer specialized in Azure DevOps to join our Abu Dhabi team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). The role focuses on building, scaling, and maintaining reliable, fault‑tolerant systems for wealth and brokerage applications, combining software development with deep systems engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and support Java and .Net Core applications, including brokerage and wealth platforms.
• Manage relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL stores such as MongoDB.
• Integrate APIs, microservices, and other integration solutions.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with data‑privacy regulations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor emerging FinTech technologies (blockchain, AI/ML, digital wallets) and recommend enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using JIRA and Confluence for incident and problem management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in site reliability, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of database management, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
