Lead Software Engineer – Azure DevOps (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer specialized in Azure DevOps to join our Abu Dhabi team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). You will ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of our fintech platforms, blending software and systems engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and support applications using Java and .NET Core.
• Manage relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Integrate APIs and micro‑services to support wealth and brokerage applications.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with data‑privacy regulations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; manage containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor emerging fintech technologies such as blockchain, AI/ML and digital wallets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using JIRA and Confluence, and handle incident and problem management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in site reliability, DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong understanding of database management and integration technologies.
• Experience with fintech or wealth‑brokerage domains is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
