Lead Technician - Security Systems

About the role

The Lead Technician – Security Systems reports to the Field Line Manager and works on the Aftermarket CFS team in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee commissioning, controller replacement, system verification and maintenance of Security Management Systems across commercial, retail and hospitality sites.

Key responsibilities

• Support commissioning and replacement of controllers on site.
• Perform system verification, preventive maintenance (PPM) and testing of doors, cameras, speed gates and car‑park barriers.
• Prepare service reports for Security Management Systems.
• Manage a team of technicians and subcontractors on a 24/7 roster‑based shift plan.
• Integrate third‑party software and ensure safe, high‑quality installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in programming, installation, commissioning and servicing of CCTV and Access Control platforms.
• Strong expertise with Intercom, Master Clock and Public Address systems.
• Proven experience with structured cabling and high‑level integrations (lifts, barriers, ANPR).
• Ability to organise technical resources and coordinate with third‑party vendors.
