Leader Solutions Engineer

About the role

As the Leader of Solution Engineering, you will head a regional team of Solutions Engineers serving customers across the Gulf, North Africa and Levant (NALE) regions. You will define technical direction, align resources with business priorities, and partner with Sales, Product and Customer Success to drive customer outcomes and regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Splunk Solutions Engineers, fostering technical expertise and consistent customer experiences.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, shaping technical strategy at regional and account levels.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership, Product and partners to support strategic opportunities and guide customers through solution evaluation and adoption.
• Provide technical leadership across the Splunk Security and Observability portfolio, including solution design, architecture workshops, demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Establish consistent technical sales practices, allocate resources, monitor performance against business goals and act as senior escalation point for complex engagements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience leading technical sales or solution engineering teams focused on cybersecurity or observability solutions.
• Proven track record working with Splunk Security (Enterprise Security, SOAR, UEBA) and Splunk Observability (Observability Cloud, ITSI, AppDynamics).
• Experience in security operations, threat detection, incident response and digital observability.
• Background working with customers or leading teams in the Gulf and/or NALE regions.
