About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Assistants for the Foundation Stage (FS) and Key Stage 1 at Dubai British School Emirates Hills, starting in August 2026. The role supports teachers and young learners, fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering daily lessons for FS and Key Stage 1 classes.
- Plan and implement targeted interventions, with a focus on phonics and English Language Learners.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to children of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to parents.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Minimum A‑Levels or higher (degree/certificate must be attested).
- Self‑aware, reflective, collaborative and proactive practitioner.
- Strong drive and enthusiasm for inclusive education.
- High expectations that motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
