Learning & Development Data Analyst (UAE National)

About the role

Amazon is a data‑driven organization that relies on metrics to continuously improve. As a Learning & Development Data Analyst, you will turn complex data sets into actionable insights that support L&D initiatives and drive business outcomes across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data collection processes and management systems for L&D programs.
• Design, write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform and load data for reporting.
• Create visual dashboards and reports using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight.
• Build Python automation scripts to streamline recurring analyses.
• Prepare and present reports for weekly, quarterly and project review meetings.
• Partner with leadership to interpret trends and recommend actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of defect trends and support improvement initiatives.
• Provide analytical expertise to Learning team projects.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience presenting data‑driven findings to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
