Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training initiatives that align with the hotel’s mission and vision. Working closely with property leadership, you will ensure staff acquire the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and promote employee training programs covering product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service and leadership.
• Conduct needs assessments, design curricula and facilitate both custom and corporate training sessions.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance and participant progress; evaluate training effectiveness using guest satisfaction data and performance metrics.
• Partner with operational leaders to ensure transfer of learning to daily operations.
• Develop training plans and budgets that are strategically linked to organizational goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to employees and managers to reinforce service excellence.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, plus 2 years relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Certified trainer preferred.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality is strongly recommended.
