Learning Support Assistant (UAE National)

About the role

The Al-Futtaim Education Foundation is seeking a compassionate UAE national to join its Learning Support team at Deira International School and Universal American School. Working under the guidance of class teachers, you will help all learners access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons across subjects and year groups.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to reinforce learning objectives.
• Adapt resources and activities to meet diverse learner needs.
• Monitor student wellbeing, report concerns, and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students during transitions, break times, and school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare differentiated materials and learning aids.
• Observe, record, and communicate student progress to teachers.
• Contribute to student support plan reviews and attend team meetings.

Required profile

• UAE national with a genuine passion for supporting learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively under teacher direction.
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward student wellbeing.
• Flexibility to adapt resources for varied learning needs.
