Legal Advisor

About the role

DGM Investment, a Dubai‑based investment group, is seeking a Legal Advisor to support its real‑estate and commercial operations. The role involves providing comprehensive legal assistance, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and managing disputes across the Group’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to property, development and commercial activities.
• Maintain legal documentation, records and regulatory filings.
• Handle tenancy and recovery matters, including Rental Dispute Center (RDC) cases, eviction proceedings and debt recovery.
• Manage civil, commercial and labour disputes, as well as applicable criminal matters.
• Prepare legal notices, statements of claim, evidence files and settlement proposals.
• Attend hearings, expert meetings, judicial inspections and site visits.
• Coordinate with external counsel, monitor litigation timelines and enforce judgments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years of legal advisory experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in UAE real‑estate law, including RDC and tenancy dispute handling.
• Proven ability to manage case preparation, filing, hearings, appeals and enforcement procedures.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE real‑estate and tenancy legislation.
• Experience with Rental Dispute Center procedures and debt recovery.
• Competence in drafting contracts, legal notices and litigation documents.
• Ability to coordinate with external lawyers and track litigation progress.
