Legal Counsel – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

BI Group is expanding its UAE operations and needs an in‑house Legal Counsel to provide practical, commercially focused legal support across the full real‑estate development lifecycle. You will work closely with senior management and internal business teams, advising on transactions, construction, sales, corporate, regulatory and dispute matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for real‑estate development projects and transactions, including drafting and negotiating sale‑purchase agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic transactions; review title documents, ownership structures and encumbrances.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing development agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint‑venture agreements and other project contracts.
• Support the drafting, review and negotiation of construction, consultancy, procurement and supplier contracts, including variations, extensions, claims and termination rights.
• Identify material legal risks and deliver practical recommendations to mitigate them.

Required profile

• Strong legal drafting and analytical capabilities with a commercially minded approach.
• Hands‑on experience in UAE real‑estate law, preferably in development, construction or related transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior management, project teams and external counsel.
