Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal and compliance support for Goldwind’s business development across Central Asia, the Middle East, and North‑Africa. Working within the Legal and Compliance Department, the role involves handling day‑to‑day legal matters, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional legal advice to all business units and manage standard contract templates, reviewing and approving sales, service, procurement, cross‑border investment and financing agreements.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing company rules, regulations and internal policies, ensuring compliance with data protection, privacy, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Support litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution processes, representing the company or coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards, report hazards, and participate in HSE initiatives.
• Coordinate internal and external legal resources, liaising with Goldwind International legal management, affiliate legal teams, and external law firms.
• Organise legal training sessions and promote compliance awareness among employees.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent higher education).
• Proven experience in legal counsel or management roles, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of regional regulations in Central Asia, the Middle East and North‑Africa.
