Lifeguard – Guest Safety at Yas Waterworld

About the role

Miral is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at Yas Waterworld. This guest‑facing position combines water‑rescue duties with operational support for rides and attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pools, slides and water attractions, responding promptly to emergencies.
• Operate rides and attractions as required for smooth park operations.
• Maintain rescue and basic life‑support competencies at test‑ready levels.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and standard operating procedures for guest safety.
• Assist with moving furniture, ride vehicles and equipment throughout the park.
• Work in diverse conditions: heights, water, extreme temperatures, and year‑round outdoor environments.

Required profile

• Vision of 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected).
• Swim 50 m nonstop using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Underwater swim 1.4 m depth for 3 m and retrieve a 10‑lb brick.
• Maintain International Lifeguard Training Program certification.
• Basic spoken English proficiency.
• Availability to work nights, evenings and holidays.
